Project SWG will be sunsetting the public TestCenter server.... for now.

But remember every sunset follows with a sunrise.

So for now the public testcenter will be taking a well deserved rest but it will return.

After being online for the most part of the last 13 years and through various iterations of our server code, it's a great achievement for a TestCenter but now it's time for a break.

Just so you know the Project itself will not be going anywhere, we will continue to develop the server code. Simply we just wont be offering a public server.

So why is this happening then?

• First of all the footfall on the server has declined over time, with the features that we currently have and other options out there for regular players we decided that it would be better to focus our resources on internal testing for now.
• There are also a number of large upgrades we want to pursue with our login server and account management system so this allows us to do this more conveniently.
• The launcher also needs some care and attention so this coincides nicely as we look to integrate the accounts system into this.

We plan to get our TestCenter back online in about a years time, at which point we may also have some new features to showcase.
